Direct 2% of income tax

“The 2%” allows taxpayers to direct individually without additional costs, 2% of their income tax due to the state to an NGO.

This is a system whereby citizens are able to decide directly what is happening with their taxes.

The procedure is simple:

Form 230 has to be completed with your data, the data of the organization that will receive the money and signed, then it should be submitted directly to the financial administration you belong to or sent, recommended by mail.

Warning! You don not have to complete the amount to be paid. It is automatically calculated for 2% of taxes due to the state.

Sponsorship and patronage deductibility of tax

According to art. 31, taxpayers who made sponsorship and / or acts of patronage can deduct amounts from tax if they meet the following conditions: falls within 3% of turnover and not exceed 20% of tax due. (Chapter III, Art 31, paragraph (4))

. These provisions, which take effect from 1 January 2004, supersedes all contrary provisions of previous sponsorship law.
Disclaimer:
- Sponsorship must be registered in the accounting year for which the tax (previous year of the actual payment)

- A company has the right to sponsor and beyond the above, but will pay tax for the exceeding amount

- “In terms of sponsorship, the provisions of Article 31 para. (4) – (5) of Law 571/2003 regarding the Fiscal Code are applicable to all taxpayers paying the tax, regardless of the sources from which they derive income, in Romania or abroad. ”
